Project Brief
Hotel Kith & Kin is a boutique hotel I opened in 2017 with my business partner, Jelleke Cremers, in a former printing house in Amsterdam. The idea was simple and, at the time, rare: a place to stay that feels like a home, without a lobby, restaurant, or bar. Four private suites, sixteen guests, and everything a good home has.
Our Solution
suites with a hotel license, keeping the character of the original printworks where it mattered and rebuilding where it didn't. I worked closely with my contractor and handled the rest — concept, interior, materials, furnishing, and opening — together with Jelleke. The interior still holds up nearly a decade later, and that is what I am good at: designing spaces that stay relevant.
